Job summary

Priory Group seeks an Activities Co-ordinator at Gateholme in Wakefield. The role is part-time (30 hours) with a pay rate of £13.45 per hour. You will support residents with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs through tailored activities and therapies, in a caring home environment.

You’ll work with qualified staff to implement individual care plans, delivering engaging activities, and contributing to residents’ recovery and wellbeing. Driving licence preferred.

Qualifications

• Resilience is key; no two days are the same.
• Experience working with people with learning disabilities, autism and/or complex needs.
• Ideally, a driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Prepares plans and delivers a wide range of activities tailored to individual needs.
• Provides group activities and programmes to bring residents together.
• Participates in site-wide programmes and other home activities with manager approval.
• Creatively plans activities to meet service user needs.
