Job summary

Avante Care & Support Ltd is seeking an Activities & Wellbeing Coordinator (Part Time) for Puddingstone Grange, a caring residential home. You will design meaningful activities to promote residents' independence and wellbeing, including social events and 1:1 support, to keep residents active and happy.

The role involves collaborating with staff, families and volunteers, with some weekend hours and the possibility of driving the minibus for outings.

Qualifications

• Caring, compassionate and motivating approach to residents.
• Creative, energetic and well-organised in planning activities.
• Flexible and confident coordinating a mix of group and 1:1 activities.
• Experience planning and delivering recreational or wellbeing activities is helpful but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Create meaningful experiences that promote independence and wellbeing for residents.
• Stimulate body and mind through planned and spontaneous activities.
• Support residents to remain active in the community.
• Collaborate with colleagues, families and volunteers.
• Drive the Avante minibus for outings (if needed).
• Coordinate group and 1:1 activities tailored to individual interests.
• Ensure high standards of care in line with Avante’s Eden Alternative Philosophy.
