Job summary

GCS Recruitment is seeking a part-time IT Support Technician to cover first-line IT support for clients from our Chiswick Business Park site in London. Shifts are Mon, Tue, and Wed 8am-4pm or 4pm-midnight, with ad hoc Thursday/Friday or weekend work at x1.5, known in advance via rota.

Role involves Windows/Mac support, Office 365, and basic production system troubleshooting. The contract rate is £27.82 per hour or £223 per day inside IR35, with free parking and potential to move to a 5-day week.

Qualifications

• Must have Windows and Mac support experience.
• Experience with Office 365 essential.
• Experience supporting laptops, mobiles, and desktops.
• Strong communication and customer service skills essential.

Responsibilities

• First line IT support for client services and incidents.
• Troubleshoot system outages and respond to IT requests promptly.
• Raise tickets to appropriate teams when issues cannot be resolved locally.
• Issue equipment and manage IT consumables.
• Support onboarding and offboarding of staff.
