Job summary

IMT Resourcing Solutions Ltd is seeking an IT Services Engineer in Cheltenham for an on-site, permanent role. You will provide 1st and 2nd line support across hardware, software, networks and IT services for onsite and remote users, ensuring reliable, responsive service.

The role covers troubleshooting, installations and ongoing maintenance of IT systems, with scope to assist across AV equipment, printing, and documentation. Full-time, 37 hours per week, on-site requirement.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an IT Support role with Service Desk exposure.
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software and networks.
• Experience providing 1st and/or 2nd line technical support.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line technical support across multiple sites.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software and network issues.
• Install, configure and support IT hardware, software and devices.
• Support Windows desktop environments and Microsoft Office.
• Provide support for wireless networks, internet access and telephony.
• Assist with user access, file services and business applications.
• Set up and support audio‑visual equipment for meetings and presentations.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation and asset records.
• Assist with IT equipment procurement and related activities.
• Escalate more complex issues when required and provide out-of-hours support if needed.
