Job summary

A progressive architecture practice in Essex is seeking a motivated and talented Part 2 Architectural Assistant. This role offers hands-on exposure across all RIBA Work Stages and a clear structure for career development. Candidates should possess a Masters in Architecture and a full UK driving licence. Responsibilities include attending site visits, producing design information, and coordinating with consultants. Ideal candidates are passionate about architecture and committed to delivering high-quality design solutions.

Qualifications

  • Experience with residential projects and exposure to RIBA Stages 0 to 4.
  • Proficiency in design software including AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and InDesign.
  • Good working knowledge of Planning Policy and Building Regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Attend site visits and client meetings to assist in gathering project briefs.
  • Produce 2D and 3D design information for planning submissions.
  • Coordinate with external consultants to support project delivery.
  • Assist with technical drawing packages for Building Regulations submissions.
  • Support the practice at networking and industry events.
  • Manage multiple tasks and deadlines with growing independence.
