Job Description:

We are partnering with a boutique financial planning firm located in central Buckinghamshire. As a growing and dynamic practice, they are seeking an ambitious individual with knowledge of financial planning, currently a paraplanner but eager to progress into a Junior Adviser position. The successful candidate will support 2 advisors, learn the business, and gradually take on client responsibilities.

This well-established independent and directly authorised firm is committed to fostering talent from within and offers a development pathway, training, client-facing experience, and mentoring. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about building a long-term career as a Financial Advisor. There is potential for succession planning, as one of the partners plans to retire in a few years and transfer the business and clients to the adviser team.

The duties include but are not limited to:

• Onboarding new clients and supporting in servicing existing clients
• Supporting financial advisors in client meetings
• Sending out letters of authority
• Liaising with product providers
• Working closely with the administrator
• General administrative duties as needed

The ideal candidate will have a paraplanning/junior adviser background, hold the DipFA or equivalent Level 4 qualification, and be willing to undertake a dual paraplanning/junior adviser role until fully integrated into the firm. They should also aspire to achieve chartered status and enjoy working in a supportive, busy team.
