Job Description:

We are partnering with a boutique financial planning firm located in central Buckinghamshire. As a growing and dynamic practice, they are seeking an ambitious individual with knowledge of financial planning. The ideal candidate is currently a paraplanner but wants to progress into a Junior Adviser position.

Our client is looking for someone to paraplane for 2 advisors, learn the business, and gradually take on client responsibilities. During this time, you will meet clients, support advice delivery, and build a client book.

This well-established independent, directly authorized firm is committed to internal talent development, offering pathways, training, client-facing experience, and mentoring. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about building a long-term career as a Financial Advisor. There is potential for succession planning, as one partner plans to retire in a few years and transfer the business and clients to the adviser team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Onboarding new clients and supporting existing client services
• Assisting financial advisors in client meetings
• Sending out letters of authority
• Liaising with product providers
• Collaborating with the administrator
• General administrative duties as needed

The ideal candidate will have a paraplanning or junior adviser background, hold the DipFA or equivalent level 4 qualification, and be willing to serve as a dual paraplanning/junior adviser until fully integrated into the firm. Aiming to achieve chartered status and be part of a supportive, busy team.
