Job Description:

We are partnering with a boutique financial planning firm located in central Buckinghamshire. As a growing and dynamic practice, they are seeking an ambitious individual with knowledge of financial planning, currently a paraplanner but wanting to progress into a Junior Adviser role. The successful candidate will support 2 advisors, learn the business, meet clients, and gradually take on advisory responsibilities and client management.

This well-established independent and directly authorised firm is committed to internal talent development, offering pathways, training, client-facing experience, and mentoring. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about building a long-term career as a Financial Advisor. There is potential for succession planning, as one partner plans to retire in a few years and transition the business and clients to the adviser team.

Key duties include:

  • Onboarding new clients and supporting existing client service
  • Assisting financial advisors during client meetings
  • Sending out letters of authority
  • Liaising with product providers
  • Collaborating closely with administrative staff
  • Performing general administrative duties as needed

The ideal candidate will have a paraplanning or junior adviser background, hold the DipFA or equivalent Level 4 qualification, and be willing to undertake a dual paraplanning/junior adviser role initially. The candidate should aspire to chartered status and thrive in a supportive, busy team environment.
