We are partnering with a boutique financial planning firm located in central Buckinghamshire. As a growing and dynamic practice, they are seeking an ambitious individual with knowledge of financial planning, currently a paraplanner but eager to progress into a Junior Adviser position. Our client is looking for someone to paraplane for 2 advisors, while learning the business and their processes. During this time, you will meet clients, gradually take on advisory responsibilities, and manage some of the client book to build your experience.
This well-established independent and directly authorised firm is committed to fostering talent from within and offers a development pathway, training, client-facing experience, and mentoring. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about building a long-term career as a Financial Advisor. There is also potential for a succession plan, as one of the partners plans to retire in a few years and wants to hand over the business and clients to the adviser team.
The duties will include but are not limited to:
The ideal candidate will have a paraplanning or junior adviser background, hold the DipFA or an equivalent Level 4 qualification. Willing to undertake a dual paraplanning/junior adviser role until fully integrated into the firm. Motivated to work towards chartered status and be part of a supportive, busy team.
