Job Description:

We are partnering with a boutique financial planning firm located in central Buckinghamshire. As a growing and dynamic practice, they are seeking an ambitious individual with knowledge of financial planning, currently a paraplanner but aiming to progress into a Junior Adviser position. The successful candidate will support two advisors by paraplanning, learning the business, and gradually taking on client meetings and advice responsibilities. The firm offers a development pathway, training, client-facing experience, and mentoring, with opportunities for long-term career growth and succession planning as a partner considers retirement in the coming years.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Onboarding new clients and supporting existing client service
• Assisting financial advisors during client meetings
• Sending out letters of authority
• Liaising with product providers
• Collaborating closely with the administrative team
• Performing general administration duties as needed

The ideal candidate will have a paraplanning or junior adviser background, hold the DipFA or an equivalent Level 4 qualification, and be willing to perform both paraplanning and junior advising roles until fully integrated into the firm. Aiming to work towards chartered status, the candidate will be part of a supportive, busy team.
