Job Description:

We are partnering with a boutique, financial planning firm located in central Buckinghamshire. As a growing and dynamic practice, they are seeking an ambitious individual with knowledge of financial planning, currently a paraplanner but wanting to progress into a Junior Adviser position. The candidate will support two advisors, learn the business, meet clients, and gradually take on advising responsibilities and manage a client book.

This well-established independent and directly authorised firm offers a development pathway, training, client-facing experience, and mentoring. It's an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about building a long-term career as a Financial Advisor, with potential for succession planning as one partner plans to retire in a few years.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  1. Onboarding new clients and supporting in servicing existing clients
  2. Supporting financial advisors during client meetings
  3. Sending out letters of authority
  4. Liaising with product providers
  5. Collaborating closely with the administrator
  6. Performing general administrative duties as needed

The ideal candidate will have a paraplanning or junior adviser background, hold the DipFA or equivalent Level 4 qualifications, and be willing to perform dual paraplanning/junior adviser duties until fully integrated into the firm. A desire to work towards chartered status and be part of a supportive, busy team is essential.
