Job Description:

We are partnering with a boutique financial planning firm located in central Buckinghamshire. As a growing and dynamic practice, they are seeking an ambitious individual with knowledge of financial planning, currently a paraplanner but aspiring to become a Junior Adviser. The candidate will support 2 advisors, learn the business, meet clients, and gradually take on advising responsibilities and manage client relationships.

This well-established, independent, and directly authorised firm is committed to internal talent development, offering pathways, training, client-facing experience, and mentoring. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about building a long-term career as a Financial Advisor. There is potential for succession planning, as one partner plans to retire in a few years and intends to transfer the business and clients to the adviser team.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Onboarding new clients and supporting existing client service
• Assisting a financial advisor during client meetings
• Sending out letters of authority
• Liaising with product providers
• Collaborating closely with the administrator
• Performing general administrative duties as needed

The ideal candidate will have a paraplanning or junior adviser background, hold DipFA or equivalent level 4 qualifications, and be willing to perform both paraplanning and junior advising roles until fully integrated within the firm. The candidate should also aspire to achieve chartered status and thrive in a supportive, busy team environment.
