A leading facilities management company is offering an on-site Painter & Decorator position in HMP Long Lartin, UK. We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an on‑site Painter & Decorator in HMP Long Lartin. The standard hours of work are 39 hours per week, across 7 days a week. There is a need to work 1 in 3 weekends on a rota basis (and with an additional allowance of 15% of basic salary). At Amey, we’re supporting our justice client, His Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service (HMPPS) by providing them with safe, clean and efficient prisons. By using our facilities management expertise, we help keep 60 secure premises across England and Wales running smoothly. The Painter & Decorator plays a key role in supporting the Clean, Rehabilitative, Enabling & Decent (CRED) programme. This includes working alongside prisoners to supervise and guide them in developing hands‑on employability skills while contributing to the improvement of living conditions across the prison estate. Through this work, you will help deliver a safe, decent environment and support meaningful rehabilitation activities, contributing to both social value and prisoner development.
