Job Description: Paid Search Account Manager

Job Purpose

The Paid Search Account Manager is responsible for managing the daily execution of all paid search activities. This includes leveraging platform knowledge and supplier relationships to deliver effective testing, media planning, optimization, and analysis. The role involves supervising junior team members, overseeing their work and development, and collaborating with the account lead to deliver exceptional search campaigns that exceed client expectations.

What We Need From You
  • Manage your own and your team's search accounts, ensuring ongoing optimization and proactively identifying tactical and strategic opportunities.
  • Deliver client and team outputs such as performance reports, weekly updates, and innovative solutions, guiding junior team members in these tasks.
  • Adhere to search channel best practices and contribute to developing these standards.
  • Own your clients' testing strategies, organizing campaign actions, and evaluating tests systematically.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and suppliers, leading communication and providing insightful guidance.
  • Manage campaign launches, forecasts, and new initiatives.
  • Stay informed on developments across display, programmatic, and paid social channels to support team knowledge and management.
  • Ensure data integrity and compliance, troubleshooting issues across functions.
  • Lead and motivate your team, providing timely feedback for development.
  • Maintain high client satisfaction and foster effective relationships across teams.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Recognize team achievements and promote a positive work environment.
About You
  • Proven experience as a paid search manager, preferably in an agency setting.
  • Experience managing large-scale PPC campaigns across multiple products or brands.
  • Google AdWords Certification and SA360 certification.
  • Experience with bid management platforms like Marin or Kenshoo.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and client management skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and creative thinking abilities.
  • Leadership skills to motivate and guide team members.
  • Experience with Adobe DMP, scripting, BigQuery, and Google Analytics is a plus.
