Job summary

A children's hospice organization is seeking a compassionate Nurse to provide exceptional care and support to children with life-limiting and life-threatening conditions. Responsibilities include delivering high-quality clinical nursing care and supporting families in their homes and at the hospice. The ideal candidate will hold appropriate nursing qualifications and have experience working with complex medical needs. This 35-hour per week permanent contract offers flexible scheduling to accommodate family preferences.

Qualifications

  • Experience of working with sick children and their families.
  • Safeguarding Awareness Level 3.
  • Understanding of equal opportunities.
  • Experience of working with children who have life limiting/life threatening conditions.
  • Experience of working with children who have complex medical needs.
  • Experience of caring for and working alongside families in their own environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide family-centered respite care for children with life-limiting conditions.
  • Deliver high-quality clinical nursing care.
  • Model values and behaviors of Julias House.
