Job summary

Sainsbury's is seeking an overnight Nightshift Manager to lead a team and run all replenishment activities across the store. You will prioritise deliveries, organise the warehouse and ensure shelves are replenished, with responsibility for safety and colleague wellbeing during the night shift.

The role requires strong customer service leadership, KPI focus and the ability to manage performance and scheduling. Night shifts are 22:00–08:00 with a £4,500 premium on base salary.

Qualifications

• Track record of delivering brilliant customer service and coaching colleagues to do the same.
• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Operational leadership in absence of senior managers.
• Proven success in meeting or exceeding KPIs across sales, availability, satisfaction or engagement.
• Experience managing employee relations including performance and absence management.
• Desirable: worked night shifts in a high-volume, operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team overnight to deliver all replenishment activities while prioritising deliveries and organising the warehouse.
• Often run a full store operation overnight, responsible for safety and wellbeing of colleagues.
• Ensure standards are excellent by morning to serve customers.
• Manage performance, scheduling and payroll with a focus on discipline and development.
