Job summary

Sainsbury's is seeking a nightshift manager to lead a team overnight, delivering replenishment, organising the warehouse and ensuring shelves are ready for morning service.

You’ll run the full store operation during your shift, safeguard colleagues’ welfare and drive KPI performance across availability, service levels and customer experience, with a £4,500 premium on top of the base salary and a range of store benefits.

Qualifications

• Track record of delivering brilliant customer service and coaching colleagues.
• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Operational leadership with responsibility for store operations.
• Proven ability to meet or exceed KPIs (sales, availability, satisfaction, engagement).
• Experience handling employee relations including performance and absence management.
• Desirable: night shift experience in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team overnight to deliver replenishment across the store and manage deliveries.
• Run the full store operation overnight and ensure safety of colleagues.
• Ensure standards are excellent by morning to serve customers.
• Manage performance, disciplinary matters, scheduling and pay.
