Job summary

Sainsbury’s Group is seeking an experienced Night Shift Manager to lead overnight replenishment and store operations in London. You’ll manage a team, ensure safety, and prioritise deliveries to ready the store for opening.

This role requires strong people leadership, the ability to coach staff, monitor KPIs, and handle disciplinary matters when needed. You’ll work 22:00–08:00 over four nights, with a £4,500 premium on top of base pay and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Previous line management in a fast-paced store environment.
• Comfortable with night shift hours (22:00–08:00) and willing to adapt to demanding shift patterns.
• Ability to coach colleagues and deliver excellent customer service.
• Experience delivering and monitoring KPIs and handling employee relations issues.

Responsibilities

• Lead overnight replenishment and store operations.
• Ensure safety and wellbeing of colleagues in store.
• Manage scheduling, payroll accuracy, and performance.
• Provide strong customer service and coach team to maintain standards.
• Operate independently in the absence of more senior management.
