Job summary

Sainsbury’s Group is seeking a Night Shift Manager to lead overnight replenishment and store operations in the UK. You will prioritise deliveries, organise the warehouse, replenish shelves, and ensure a safe, well-run shift for your team.

You'll manage performance, schedule staff, and conduct disciplinaries when needed, while coaching colleagues to deliver excellent customer service and meet KPIs. The role includes a £4,500 night premium and scope to impact store outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven line management experience in a fast-paced, operational environment.
• Experience delivering and monitoring KPIs or other performance indicators.
• Comfortable with nightshift working and leading a team across overnight hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team overnight to deliver replenishment across the store and prioritise deliveries.
• Run a full store operation solo during nights, ensuring safety and wellbeing of colleagues.
• Ensure standards are excellent by morning and customer service remains high.
• Manage performance, capability, and scheduling; conduct disciplinaries when needed.
• Coach colleagues to deliver brilliant customer service and meet KPIs.
