Sainsbury’s is seeking an experienced Nightshift Manager to lead an overnight replenishment team, organize warehouse activities and maintain stock levels. You will oversee a full shift, ensuring safety and wellbeing of colleagues and that standards are set for a strong morning service.

The role emphasizes people management, performance coaching, and ensuring accurate scheduling and pay. A premium is paid on top of base salary for night shifts, with a typical schedule from 22:00 to 08:00.

Qualifications

• Track record of delivering brilliant customer service and coaching colleagues to do the same.
• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
• Operational leadership in the absence of more senior managers.
• Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding KPIs like sales, availability, or customer satisfaction.
• Experience handling employee relations issues including performance and absence management.
• Desirable: night shift experience in a high-volume, overnight operation.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team overnight to deliver replenishment and prioritise deliveries.
• Manage the full store operation overnight and uphold safety and wellbeing of colleagues.
• Ensure standards are ready for morning service.
• Oversee scheduling and pay, and coach team performance.
