Job summary

Loddon Court is a residential short breaks (respite) service. A Support Worker is needed to assist adults with learning disabilities during overnight stays, helping with daily routines, activities and person-centred reviews alongside families and professionals.

Shifts include waking nights on Monday and Tuesday and day shifts, with full-time or 20-hour part-time options. Day shifts require a driving licence and daily vehicle access; an Enhanced DBS with adult barred list is required.

Qualifications

• Enhanced DBS check with adult barred list
• Proof of right to work in the UK
• Driving licence and daily access to a vehicle for day shifts

Responsibilities

• Support adults during overnight short breaks with all aspects of their daily routines
• Provide safe, person-centred support that respects each person's rights, dignity and voice
• Help people stay connected in their communities, enjoy activities, stay safe, make positive contributions and stay healthy
• Contribute to the running of the service and support seniors and management to meet CQC compliance
• Work with individuals, families, carers and other professionals to provide consistent, coordinated support
• Document all work undertaken and contribute to person-centred reviews
• Support leisure activities within the service and in the local community
