Job summary

Progress Care Solutions is seeking a Night Support Worker for the Dudley and Wolverhampton areas. The role involves monitoring residents during overnight shifts, administering medication, and maintaining facility hygiene. Candidates should have prior experience with adults with Learning Disabilities, a valid driver’s licence, and strong interpersonal skills. This position requires reliability and punctuality, with a commitment to a 36-hour work week, including a minimum of 3 shifts per week. The hourly rate is £12.80 plus defined benefits.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working with adults with Learning Disabilities or similar settings.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness/ability to drive between sites.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, motivated to support the wellbeing of young adults.
• Reliable, punctual and able to commit to shift schedules.

Responsibilities

• Monitor residents during overnight shifts, responding promptly to their needs.
• Administer medication as required and maintain accurate records.
• Perform cleaning and laundry duties to keep the facility hygienic.
• Work independently (lone working) and maintain safe working practices.
• Maintain accurate shift logs and report any incidents or concerns.
