Job summary

Carden Park Hotel Ltd in Chester is seeking a Night Porter to work 32-40 hours per week, 10:30pm-7am, including weekends, on a permanent contract. The role offers a salary of £26,800 per annum plus service charge and extensive benefits.

You will be part of the overnight team, delivering exceptional guest experiences and supporting hotel operations while maintaining safety and high standards throughout the night.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Calm, professional, and able to handle pressure during overnight shifts.
• Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
• Independent and reliable when working alone overnight.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional guest service throughout the night with professionalism and care.
• Welcome guests with efficient check-in and check-out.
• Handle room service orders promptly and courteously.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of public areas to a high standard.
• Carry out regular security and safety checks across the hotel.
• Support other departments overnight to ensure smooth operations.
• Respond to guest enquiries to create memorable experiences.
• Drive the staff minibus on a rotational basis.
