Job summary

Recruit Genie is seeking an Assistant Night Manager to support the Night Manager and lead the overnight Front Office and hotel operations. You will be the senior on duty two nights a week, handling guest issues, supervising the night team, and ensuring service standards stay high throughout the night.

This role is ideal for experienced Night Auditors or Front Desk professionals ready for the next step, with training provided on night audit procedures and hotel systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel night roles such as Night Auditor or Reception Supervisor.
• Ability to lead the overnight team and own the shift.
• Strong communication and guest service skills.
• Knowledge of night audit procedures; training provided if needed.
• Calm under pressure and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Deputise for the Night Manager during rest days.
• Oversee overnight front office and hotel operations.
• Perform and supervise night audit and reports.
• Manage guest arrivals, departures, requests, and complaints.
• Conduct nightly safety, security, and fire checks.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance; ensure smooth ops.
• Ensure clear handovers for morning team.
