Focal Systems is seeking a Field Service Technician to perform installations across Bristol and the surrounding area. The role involves overnight visits, installing camera hardware, configuring systems, and ensuring sites meet quality standards.

A valid UK driving licence and reliable transport are required. The position is a fixed-term contract (6 months) with a typical 20-hour workweek and potential extension.

Qualifications

• Proven field service experience in installations or related fields.
• Strong technical aptitude for diagnosing hardware/software issues.
• Ability to operate power tools safely on installations.

Responsibilities

• Install camera hardware and configure to company standards.
• Respond to installation requests and meet customer SLAs.
• Maintain records of installations and parts used for each site.
• Onboard and scan products into the system.
• Adhere to safety protocols during visits.
• Work nights and weekends as required.
