A major utility provider in the UK is looking for a skilled professional for their OHL Operations team. The role involves maintenance of the electricity network, requiring expertise in 132kV, 275kV or 400kV work. Candidates must have relevant electrical or mechanical qualifications and experience with climbing towers. The role offers a starting salary of £40,581 with additional benefits including company vehicle, pension scheme, and ongoing training opportunities. How can you play a key role in maintaining the electricity network with National Grid.
We have an excellent opportunity for you to be an integral member of our OHL Operations team across England/Wales. We’ll provide you with all the top tech, tools, equipment and PPE to get the job done safely. We can provide you with job security, job satisfaction and challenge you with a diverse workload. You’ll be working in a team on a variety of jobs from line repairs, fault investigations and replacing damaged or worn-out assets, either way you’ll obviously be comfortable working at heights. This ideal candidate would be based in Bristol or Southwest.
We’ll get you up to speed with expert training at our Centre of Excellence at Eakring, Nottinghamshire and other venues which will require short stays away from home. There’ll also be opportunities to work around the country if you want it, this will come with financial benefits such as generous overnight allowances, accommodation and mobility payments when working away from your base location.
