Job summary
SP Energy Networks in Glasgow/Cambuslang area is seeking a Design Engineer (OHL) to develop and deliver engineering solutions for 33kV-400kV transmission projects. Reporting to the Engineering Section Head, you will own pre-contract design information and provide technical guidance to project teams, ensuring designs meet safety, quality and environmental standards.

Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Experience in Transmission network Overhead Lines.
- Ability to deliver engineering solutions for high-value projects.
- Strong communication and CDM/Health & Safety knowledge.
Responsibilities
- Develop pre-contract design information and provide technical guidance.
- Prepare detailed engineering specs and designs for transmission projects.
- Review drawings and specifications for construction, procurement and stakeholders.
- Support site/construction issue resolution and maintain safety standards.
