Job summary

CMA Recruitment Group is seeking an ambitious Management Accountant in England to join a growing accountancy practice. You will manage a portfolio of clients, act as their trusted finance partner and help them understand their financial performance.

You’ll deliver monthly/quarterly management accounts, budgets, forecasts and cash flows while supporting cloud accounting tools and driving efficiencies. A clear progression route to leadership awaits.

Qualifications

• Experience in an accountancy practice environment.
• Strong ability to prepare and analyse management accounts with meaningful commentary.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Managing own portfolio of clients and acting as a trusted finance partner.
• Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts with analysis and commentary.
• Producing budgets, forecasts and cash flow projections to support business decisions.
• Supporting clients with cloud accounting software (Xero, QuickBooks, Sage).
• Reviewing financial processes and identifying efficiencies and improvements.
• Delivering insightful financial information and practical commercial advice.
• Assisting with KPI reporting and outsourced finance support services.
• Building strong client relationships and becoming a valued extension of their business.
