Job summary

CMA Recruitment Group is supporting a Ringwood client in Hampshire seeking a forward-thinking Management Accountant to join a fast-paced finance team.

You will lead month-end reporting, budgeting and cash flow, with involvement in automation and process improvements, while ensuring compliance across operations.

The role offers hybrid working, professional development, and a salary of £40,000-£50,000 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail; advanced Excel (macros) and Power BI desirable.
• Proven ability to meet tight reporting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships at all levels.
• Enthusiastic about continuous learning and process optimisation.

Responsibilities

• Leading month-end reporting and delivering insightful management accounts to support strategic decision-making.
• Managing financial processes including ledger reconciliation, budgeting and automation advancements.
• Weekly cash flow reporting and forecasts.
• Partial Exemption VAT handling and compliance support.
• Drive process improvement for efficiency and accuracy in the finance function.
• Collaborate with operational teams to meet financial targets and maintain controls.
• Assist with audit processes and robust financial controls to support growth.
