Job summary

CMA Recruitment Group is partnering with a professional services organisation in Guildford to recruit an interim Group Senior Management Accountant. The role offers hybrid working and a clear path to permanent opportunities.

You will lead month-end close, statutory accounting, and provide insightful financial analysis across multiple regions and currencies while developing a small finance team.

Qualifications

• Experience across multi-region, multi-currency finance environments.
• Strong technical accounting expertise and financial systems knowledge.
• Ability to analyse complex financial data and provide insights.
• Proven people management experience and stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end and year-end close and associated reconciliations.
• Lead audit preparation, VAT reporting, and controls.
• Deliver margin, variance, revenue and profitability analysis; support budgeting and forecasting.
• Manage two direct reports and collaborate with operational teams to improve reporting processes.
