Job summary

CMA Recruitment Group are seeking an ambitious Management Accountant to join a growing accountancy practice, offering client exposure, influence on decisions and clear progression.

You'll manage own portfolio, produce management accounts, budgets and cash flow forecasts while developing advisory and partner relationships in a flexible, hybrid working environment.

Qualifications

• Experience working within an accountancy practice environment.
• AAT, ACCA or ACA qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience.
• Strong management accounts and client-facing experience.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Commercially minded with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Looking to develop into a leadership or management position in the near future.

Responsibilities

• Managing your own portfolio of clients and acting as a trusted finance partner.
• Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts with meaningful analysis and commentary.
• Producing budgets, forecasts and cash flow projections to support business decision-making.
• Supporting clients with cloud accounting software including Xero, QuickBooks and Sage.
• Reviewing financial processes and identifying efficiencies and improvements.
• Delivering insightful financial information and practical commercial advice.
• Assisting with KPI reporting and outsourced finance support services.
• Building strong client relationships and becoming a valued extension of their business.
