Job summary

Axcis Education is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Multi Trades Tutor to deliver vocational learning opportunities for students aged 11-19 with SEND, SEMH needs, autism, and social, emotional or behavioural difficulties. This role combines industry expertise with teaching and mentoring to help students develop practical skills and pathways into employment.

Location is Totnes, Devon. Teaching across Carpentry, Plumbing, Electrical installation, Plastering and Brickwork, with emphasis on

Qualifications

• Relevant trade qualifications and/or significant construction industry experience.
• Experience in one or more construction-related disciplines.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to inspire, motivate and engage young people.
• Understanding of workshop health and safety requirements.
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

This is an exciting opportunity to combine your industry expertise with meaningful teaching and mentoring, helping students develop practical skills, confidence, independence, and pathways into employment, apprenticeships, and further education.

Key Responsibilities

What We're Looking For

Essential
