Axcis Education Recruitment is seeking Learning Mentors/SEND Teaching Assistants in Plymouth to support young people with SEMH needs. You'll work in a specialist Alternative Provision, both in school and in community outreach, to help students build confidence and life skills.
Role focuses on emotional regulation, positive relationship-building, and collaborative support with professionals. Full UK driving licence mandatory; GCSEs required.

We are recruiting SEND Teaching Assistants / Behaviour Mentors to join a specialist Alternative Provision supporting children and young people with SEMH needs: trauma, anxiety and additional learning needs. This is an incredibly rewarding role where no two days are the same. You'll work closely with students both in the classroom and out in the community, helping them to build confidence, develop life skills, and overcome barriers to learning.
