Job summary

University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting for a Pathway Team Leader in Outpatients. You will manage a team, coordinate outpatient requests and lead on pathway administration within the Diabetes Outpatients service.

The role requires strong leadership, proactive planning, and excellent communication to ensure targets are met. Familiarity with Lorenzo and RTT pathways is essential, with opportunities for development within the Community Planned Care Business Unit.

Qualifications

• Experience of leading or deputy leading teams and managing staff.
• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Ability to plan, delegate and respond to change to meet outpatient targets.

Responsibilities

• Collate data and produce reports.
• Provide a central point of contact for the outpatient pathway and coordinate requests with clinicians and managers.
• Coordinate outpatient appointments, clinics and pathways and provide administrative advice.
• Must have thorough understanding of Lorenzo's functionalities in the outpatient environment.
• Have knowledge of the 18-52 week RTT pathway and the Trust's Patient Access Policy.
• Support service development through training and monitoring and ensure ongoing team development.
