Job summary

Dorking Healthcare Ltd. invites applications for Lead Pathway Coordinator at Dorking Hospital. You will manage the Pathway Coordinator team, oversee the administrative flow of patient care from referral to discharge, and ensure clinics run safely and efficiently.

The role requires strong leadership, organisational skills, and the ability to motivate staff while handling conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment. Travel between DHC sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Numerate and fluent in English with solid educational background.
• Experience in healthcare administration or HR is desirable.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership and oversight for the Pathway Coordinator team.
• Act as primary escalation point for complex cases and operational issues.
• Oversee HR processes including attendance, leave, appraisals, and performance management.
• Lead team meetings and communicate priorities and process changes.
• Support recruitment, induction and staff development.
• Ensure KPIs and SLAs are met by the team.
• Conduct incident reviews and drive improvements.
• Maintain accurate electronic patient records and audit trails.
• Coordinate imaging requests and manage referrals pathway.
• Maintain strong relationships with clinicians and other departments.
