Job summary

University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust seeks a Pathway Co-ordinator for the Dermatology department. The role is full-time at our new St Peter’s Health Centre site in Leicester, supporting patient flow through outpatient services and preparation of medical notes.

You will work closely with Dermatology consultants and nurse specialists, requiring excellent communication, deadline-driven performance, and accurate keyboard skills to ensure timely appointments and accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Distribute referrals to relevant consultants for grading.
• Ensure patients are added to waiting lists and letters are sent per Trust policy.
• Liaise with consultants for urgent appointments.
• Be aware of overseas visitors or private patients and notify relevant departments.
• Prepare and sit clinic sessions multiple times a week.
