You will book and coordinate appointments, maintain patient records using Millennium and other NHS systems, manage enquiries, and escalate issues to keep clinics running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Strong IT skills, including NHS patient administration systems.
• Knowledge of NHS waiting list targets and patient pathways.

Responsibilities

• Booking and coordinating outpatient follow-up appointments and managing clinic schedules.
• Maintaining accurate patient records using the Millennium patient administration system.
• Providing a welcoming reception service and responding to telephone and face‑to‑face enquiries.
• Managing appointment outcomes, cancellations, and clinic changes, ensuring records are updated promptly.
• Liaising with Consultants, Specialist Nurses, patients, and colleagues to support the smooth running of clinics.
• Communicating sensitively and professionally with patients, including those who may require reassurance or additional support.
• Escalating issues appropriately and supporting service improvements and administrative best practice.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure continuous service delivery and cover during periods of leave or absence.
