Job summary

University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust in Coventry is recruiting 3 WTE Booking Administrators to provide comprehensive administrative, booking and customer service support to facilitate access to outpatient services.

The post holder will coordinate appointments, maintain patient records, and communicate with patients and clinical teams while supporting booking processes and supervising Band 2 staff.

Qualifications

• Coordinate, book, amend and cancel outpatient appointments using Trust systems and booking procedures.
• Maintain patient appointment information up to date with continuous administrative validation.
• Supervise day-to-day workload of Band 2 booking support staff.
• Produce regular information reports from spreadsheets and databases.

Responsibilities

• Work effectively as part of a team to ensure smooth appointment management.
• Coordinate, book, amend and cancel outpatient appointments ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Support the implementation of new and revised booking processes and standard procedures.
