University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is seeking an Outpatient Waiting List Co-ordinator to provide confidential administrative support and manage the Outpatient Waiting List within Trauma and Orthopaedics, including booking, cancellations and rebooking of appointments. Experience with the outpatient waiting list and NHS E-referral system would be advantageous.

The post holder will work with two colleagues, ensuring appointments are scheduled accurately, maintained records

Qualifikationen

• Experience with outpatient waiting list and booking processes.
• Understanding of RTT and NHS policies beneficial.
• Ability to manage confidential information.
• Excellent communication across channels.

Aufgaben

• Book outpatient appointments using Direct and Partial Booking systems within targets.
• Validate and manage the Outpatient Waiting List.
• Handle clinic changes for Trauma and Orthopaedics (cancel/reschedule).
• Liaise with e-referrals and triage processes.
• Interpret reports to align bookings with capacity.
• Maintain patient records on the patient administration system.
• Apply RTT knowledge to ensure correct pathways.
• Serve as contact for enquiries via written, verbal, electronic methods.
• Keep documentation up to date.
• Support service improvement projects using Revenue Cycle, Powerchart, e-referrals.
• Assist with efficient office systems and cross-cover.
