Job summary

Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an efficient Outpatient Booking Administrator for King's Mill Hospital. The role focuses on booking and cancelling appointments, sending patient documents, and arranging follow-ups for ward discharges within RTT pathways.

You will work closely with the BSU and consultants, handle referrals on Care Flow, and maintain up-to-date mandatory training. Flexible hours and adherence to Trust policies are required.

Qualifications

• Good standard of education.
• Experience in outpatient services and booking processes desired.
• Knowledge of Care Flow, Medway and NHS processes helpful.

Responsibilities

• Book and cancel outpatient clinic appointments.
• Monitor timely sending of patient documents and ensure accuracy.
• Arrange follow-up appointments for ward discharges and referrals.
• Maximise use of clinic slots and coordinate with BSU and consultants.
