Northern Gas and Power in Preston is launching its Lead Gen programme, offering hands-on training from scratch and pairing you with a senior Closer to mentor you through live deals. You’ll learn B2B energy sales, qualify opportunities, build a pipeline, and work toward ambitious targets with a clear path to Energy Consultant.

This fast-paced, office-based role features a structured 90-day ramp, ongoing coaching, and strong earning potential through uncapped commissions.

Qualifications

• Sharp, hungry and willing to learn how commercial sales work.

Responsibilities

• Make 50-80+ outbound cold-calls daily to decision-makers including energy managers, finance directors, procurement leads and CEOs.
• Qualify opportunities by understanding contract timelines, annual consumption, and decision-making processes.
• Book qualified appointments and build a commercial pipeline with your Closer.
• Learn energy procurement from supplier negotiations, tender processes, to competitive market pricing.
• Work towards weekly and monthly targets that are challenging but achievable.
• Use CRM systems to manage your pipeline and track progress.
