Northern Gas and Power is seeking an experienced Energy Sales Closer to join our Preston team. You will close procurement contracts across gas and power for SME to large enterprises, managing pricing conversations and supplier negotiations with autonomy.

You will lead a Lead Gen team, shape pricing strategies, and nurture long-term relationships that drive renewals and referrals. Expect high-impact incentives and a fast-paced sales culture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of B2B sales with a proven close track record.
• Experience closing high-value energy sector deals.
• KPI-driven and target-focused.
• Ability to manage multi-stakeholder cycles.
• Strong negotiation and margin understanding.

Responsibilities

• Closing energy procurement contracts across gas and power for commercial and industrial clients.
• Leading pricing and tender conversations with confidence and commercial authority.
• Managing and developing your Lead Gen team — their output directly affects your earnings.
• Building long-term customer relationships that generate renewal and referral opportunities year on year.
• Working with one of the best trading and procurement desks in our sector on contract structuring and supplier negotiations.
