Job summary

Boots Opticians is seeking an Optical Assistant to join our in-store team. You will greet customers, listen to their needs and help them find the right glasses or contact lenses while supporting the eye-care journey.

Based in-store, you’ll learn through our Step Into Optics training programme, take part in pre-screening activities and perform dispensing tasks, repairs and aftercare with a strong focus on service standards.

Responsibilities

• Order, dispense and collect glasses and contact lenses.
• Support with eye-tests and pre-screening activities.
• Provide aftercare support through repairs and adjustments.
• Complete operational and administrative tasks associated with dispensing prescriptions.
• Maintain shop floor standards.
