Job summary

Amey is seeking a permanent Team Leader to join our on-site team in Stafford (ST16 2DH). You will lead a team of Operational Control Room colleagues, coordinate day-to-day maintenance, and drive safety, performance, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience leading or supervising a customer service, control room, operations centre, or highways operations team.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Self-motivated and pro-active in terms of delivering solutions.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and make informed decisions under pressure.
• Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting performance data and producing reports.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop a team of Operational Control Room colleagues.
• Coordinate day-to-day maintenance operations and manage resources efficiently.
• Monitor team performance against KPIs, SLAs and targets.
• Ensure health and safety standards are met and enforced.
• Analyse data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
