DHS - Wolseley UK is seeking an Operations Supervisor to manage day-to-day warehouse operations at the branch, driving service quality and cost efficiency. You will lead a team of Operations Assistants and Drivers to meet KPIs and deliver excellent customer service.

As an Operations Supervisor based at DHS, you'll be responsible for:

• Driving service on a day-to-day basis within the warehouse environment in the branch.
• Achieving operational excellence, minimising costs, ensuring on time and in full delivery and providing outstanding customer service.
• Leading your team of Operations Assistants and Drivers, inspiring them to focus on providing exemplary customer service and drive activity within the team to deliver upon all branch KPIs and targets.
• Building excellent working relationships with the wider team within the branch to ensure that all colleagues are able to support in ensuring that business development opportunities are identified and converted.
• Instilling a culture of high standards, quality, and safety.

This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week.

And Here's What We'd Like You To Have

• Previous industry or merchant experience and knowledge in plumbing/heating products would be advantageous
• Previous experience as a supervisor working well with others towards a common goal through sharing clear targets and feedback.
• The ability to effectively share and receive information with peers, teams, and key stakeholders.
• The ability to proactively identify and propose solutions to operational and people issues before, or as, they arise.
• To be a team player who is happy to take on a diverse role to carry out all jobs in the branch to ensure it runs smoothly.
