Job summary

DHL Supply Chain is seeking an Operations Manager in Wellesbourne. The role requires permanent, full-time employment with a 9am-5pm shift pattern. The salary range is £40,000 to £45,000, dependent on experience.

This on-site position focuses on leadership within manufacturing logistics and ensuring robust reporting and policy communication across teams. The successful candidate will drive KPI reporting, define roles and responsibilities, and coordinate resource planning.

• Experience in shift/operations management within manufacturing logistics.
• Ability to resolve issues promptly and effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Effective communication of H&S and Environmental Policy updates to all levels.
• Ensure OMS KPI reporting structure is in place and aligned with operations.
• Define OMS Roles & Responsibilities and adapt ramp-up to the work environment.
• Develop TDM according to Roles & Responsibilities and align with leadership.
• Review Monthly Resource Planning against forecasted volumes and resources.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Effective communication of H&S and Environmental Policy changes and Alerts to all levels in a timely manner.
• Ensure the OMS KPI Tree's expected structure of reports is in place, aligning with operational and staff areas that deals with reporting
• Support the definition of OMS Roles & Responsibilities ramp-up, adjusting the implementation stages to your work environment and starting point
• Develop your TDM according to your Roles & Responsibilities and align it with the of TDM your immediate leader and your team, considering the activities that are connected
• Review Monthly Resource Planning comparing real vs. forecast of volumes, volume profile and resources assigned

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Previous Shift Manager / Operations Manager Experience
• Ability to resolve issues effectively and promptly
• Strong Communicator
• Experience within the Manufacturing Logistics Sector would be desirable
• IT Literate, With Microsoft Office Packages
