Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in the United Kingdom is seeking a Warehouse First Line Manager to lead our operations during night shifts, ensuring a safe and efficient facility while delivering on KPI targets. You will coordinate tasks, monitor attendance, and manage resource planning to support the Operations Manager.

The role requires proven leadership, IT literacy including Excel, and a strong grasp of logistics and warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support the operation to meet safety and efficiency standards during shift.
• Communicate H&S and Environmental Policy changes to all levels promptly.
• Understand and monitor Objectives & KPIs for the role and team.
• Assign tasks based on daily resource planning from Operations Manager.
• Ensure accurate recording of indirect hours and attendance for planning.
• Flag deviations in attendance to Second Line Leadership for updates.

Pay Rate: £30,000 + 28% Shift Allowance

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Monday to Thursday, 21:45pm to 06:30am, Friday 19:00pm to 02:30AM

what You'll Do

• Coordinate and provide support and information in the running of a safe and efficient operation, working within clear guidelines to help achieve the OPERATIONAL STANDARDS and defined outcomes for its responsibility area during shift in individual approach
• Effective communication of H&S and Environmental Policy changes and Alerts to all levels in a timely manner.
• Have clear understanding of Objectives & KPIs applicable to your role and to your team
• Assign tasks according to daily resource planning received from Operations Manager
• Ensure employees are registering the indirect hours properly, by checking pending approvals in WLM or validating the individual activities form
• Track attendance of your employees at individual level and indicate deviations to Second Line Leadership for he/she to update the resource planning (if needed)
