A global leader in e-commerce seeks an Operations Manager in Milton Keynes to oversee shifts, drive operational excellence, and manage a team of Area Managers. The role requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree and significant people management experience. It's driven by Operations Managers who bring the team together to push excellence in safety, quality and productivity across our sites. At your site, you'll lead other managers and create the operational plan that helps your teams meet their targets. This role is all about driving operational excellence to create the Amazon of tomorrow.
You’ll lead shifts at one of our operational sites and serve as the key link between a number of teams, including finance, safety and operations integration teams. You’ll be close to the day‑to‑day operations at your site while also contributing to new ways to innovate. Daily activities include meetings with different areas of the business, deep diving into performance and risk metrics for sites, and preparing for varying demand levels. You’ll also mentor and coach your team, serving as a source of leadership that helps them become the best managers they can be.

Bachelor’s degree, or Master’s degree in business, data science, public administration, finance, engineering, human resources or a related field.
