Job summary

Springcare is seeking an experienced Operations Manager (RGN) to oversee day-to-day operations across a portfolio of care homes. You will ensure high standards of care, regulatory compliance, and strong team performance.

You will lead Home Managers and Deputies, drive budgeting and occupancy efficiency, and contribute to quality plans while engaging with CQC and Local Authorities.

Qualifications

• Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification.
• NVQ Level 5 in Management (Level 7 desirable).
• Proven experience in operations management.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance.
• Experience in managing budgets and occupancy.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and people development skills.
• Ability to analyse performance data and drive improvements.
• Willingness to travel and participate in out-of-hours support.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support, and develop Home Managers and Deputies across multiple sites.
• Drive continuous compliance with CQC, local authority, and internal standards.
• Oversee service quality, resident safety, and care outcomes.
• Monitor and improve performance through audits, KPIs, and action planning.
• Represent Springcare in key stakeholder meetings, including CQC and Local Authorities.
• Support homes through complaints management, unannounced visits, and risk assessments.
• Provide reports, insights, and strategic input to the Senior Management Team.
• Contribute to company-wide quality plans, policies, and staff development initiatives.
