Springcare is seeking an experienced Operations Manager (RGN) to oversee day-to-day operations across a portfolio of care homes in Northern & Central England. You’ll work with Home Managers, Deputies and staff to ensure high standards of care, compliance and team performance.

You’ll drive quality, safety and outcomes while managing budgets, occupancy and regulatory requirements. The role involves travel across sites and participation in on-call support as part of the leadership team.

Qualifikationen

• Nurse qualification (RGN) and active nursing registration.
• NVQ Level 5 in Management; Level 7 desirable.
• Proven operations management experience in care settings.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance.
• Experience in budgets and occupancy management.
• Willingness to travel and provide out-of-hours support.

Please note: Our Head Office is based in Whitchurch, and you will be required to attend the office regularly alongside our other Operations Managers. The area of responsibility for this position is Northern & Central England.

What We’re Looking For:

• A Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification
• NVQ Level 5 in Management (Level 7 desirable)
• Proven experience in operations management
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance
• Experience in managing budgets and occupancy
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and people development skills
• Ability to analyse performance data and drive improvements
• Willingness to travel and participate in out-of-hours support

• Knowledge of dementia care best practices
• Experience with policy development, quality assurance, and service turnaround
• Understanding of GDPR and safeguarding practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
